Mavourneen Farrell ^TM is a luxury brand based in Boston, MA specializing in knitwear made by hand. Woman owned and operated, the exclusive label was founded by Helen M. Farrell, who began knitting while in graduate school at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

 

What began as a creative outlet ... and a necessity to stay warm in Ireland! ... quickly resulted in compliments from her community and several requests for custom made pieces.  

When she wasn't knitting or studying, the founder was traveling throughout the countryside and visiting her family's home of origin in County Cork. The surprising beauty of Ireland's contrasts - where tradition meets contemporary - was the perfect inspiration for Mavourneen Farrell ^TM 

The luxury brand uses sustainable practices and the finest wool to blend seemingly simple designs with modern elements. Fashion is art, and Mavourneen Farrell ^TM showcases pieces on orchids - adding an elegant twist to our cozy knits.
